Says it's cruelty-free. Not certified yet.
Alba Botanica's own FAQ says it doesn't test its products or ingredients on animals and says it is part of the Leaping Bunny Program, but I couldn't find it on Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International. PETA says it may not be cruelty-free, because it hasn't signed PETA's statement of assurance. So its cruelty-free status is the brand's word only.
Does Alba Botanica test on animals?
Alba Botanica says it doesn't test on animals, but it isn't certified, so nobody independent has checked. What it says is below.
What they say: Its own site says: "The Alba Botanica brand does not test products or ingredients on animals."
What that means: Alba Botanica isn't certified by Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International or PETA yet, so nobody independent has checked this. Plenty of honest brands haven't applied, and some products, like paper goods, don't fit the main schemes well. It's the brand's word, so the choice is yours.
